From: Aqib Khan Subject: FW: Experience the Sweetness of Eeman Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi WA sallam) said, "Sight is a poisonous arrow of the devil. Whosoever, whether male or female, protects himself or herself from evil glances, will be granted a sweet eeman (faith) which will please his/her heart." [Tabrani] The heart is like a container that you can keep filling with eeman. But each glance at a non-mahram makes a hole in this container of eeman. Like a bucket full of holes cannot hold water, so also does eeman keep pouring out of the heart of the person who does not restrain his/her glances to what Allah (subhana WA ta'ala) has permitted looking at. The disease of checking out the opposite sex has unfortunately become quite common. Allah (subhana WA ta'ala) calls it an act of the devil that causes eeman to turn sour. Therefore, if you would like to taste the true sweetness of eeman, you need to guard your glances and not look at what Allah (subhana WA ta'ala) has prohibited. One needs to protect himself/herself from allowing their aurah (parts of the body men and women are required to keep covered and hidden from the eyes of others) to be seen by others. As we would wear Armour if physical arrows were assaulting us, so we should wear concealing clothes to protect ourselves from the poisonous arrows of the Shaytaan. These do not attack our physical body, but they attack our soul and tear holes in our faith.

Fw: Major Sins # 57 : Men Resembling Women and Women Resembling Men
From: Adil ibn Manzoor Khan Subject: [AllahoAkbarGroup] Major Sins # 57 : Men Resembling Women and Women Resembling Men "May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You" Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'Ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Part of the fitrah (natural inclinations of mankind) is that men should preserve the masculinity which Allaah has created in them, and women should preserve the femininity which Allaah has created in them. Without this, decent human life becomes impossible. Men resembling women and vice versa is something which goes against mans innate nature (fitrah) and opens the door to corruption and widespread promiscuity. The ruling in shareeah is that when it is stated that the person who does a thing is cursed, that thing is haraam. Ibn Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allaah has cursed the men who make themselves look like women and the women who make themselves look like men." (Reported by al-Bukhaari; see al-Fath, 10/332). Ibn Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) also reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allaah has cursed effeminate men and masculine women." (Reported by al-Bukhaari, see al-Fath, 3\10/333). The resemblance may be in the way they move, walk and speak. The evidence that the two sexes should not resemble one another in dress is found in the hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him): "Allaah has cursed the man who wears womens clothes and the woman who wear mens clothes." (Reported by Abu Dawud, 4/355; see also Saheeh al-Jaami, 5071).. Fw: Seen A Bad Dream ? What Should You Do ?
From: Adil ibn Manzoor Khan Subject: Seen A Bad Dream ? What Should You Do ?
"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"
Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Bad dreams If a Muslim sees a bad dream (nightmare), he should do the following: He should spit (dryly) to his left three times He should seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan three times He should seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the dream He should stand up and pray He should change the side on which he was sleeping if he wants to continue to sleep, even if that means turning onto his left side He should not inform anyone He should neither interpret it himself nor ask anyone else to interpret it. The evidence for this is the narration of Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that: "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: If any one of you sees a dream that he dislikes, he should spit to his left three times, seek refuge in Allah from the Shaytaan, and turn over on to his other side.'" (Saheeh Muslim, no. 2262) According to another report, the wording is: "He should seek refuge in Allah from its evil, so that it does not harm him." Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) reported that a Bedouin came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said: "O Prophet of Allah, I saw a dream that my head was chopped off and rolled away, and I ran after it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: "Do not tell people the Shaytaan is playing with you in your dreams." (Saheeh Muslim, no. 2268) According to another report, the wording is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/islam4ever-net/message/794 Permission is granted to circulate among private individuals and groups, to post on Internet sites and to publish in full text and subject title in not-for-profit publications. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LoveIslam_LiveIslam/. __,_._,___

Fw: True Meaning of - Inna lillaahi wa inna ilayhi Raajioon
From: Adil ibn Manzoor Khan Date: 20-01-2011 11:12:08 PM Subject: True Meaning of - Inna lillaahi WA inna ilayhi Raajioon "May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You" Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'Ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu True Meaning of Inna lillaahi WA inna ilayhi Raajioon
Yeah, sure we say this statement when someone dies. Also some of us may say this sentence when they lose something, suffer a setback or harm. But………..do you know what it means? But thats not what I am talking about.
It means …whatever we have is not really ours. It belongs to Allaah. Take a look around you; everything you see, all that you have and all that there is….in you, on you, around you….belongs to Allaah, alone. It is Allah Who has given you all the property and goods you possess, and that He is the true Owner of them all. So the cars that you own, the houses that you live in, the businesses you possess all truly belong to Allaah. The kids that He blessed you with, the health that He gave you, the time that He has allowed you are all Allah's property. Even the bodies we live in and the life that we have belongs to Allaah alone. "And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth…." (Surah Aal-Imraan:180)
"Say: 'To Allah belongs the East and the West…" (Surah al-Baqarah:142) Now, since everything belongs to Allaah, then we have to include even our souls in that list. The very souls that we think of as our "self"; our "nafs"; our "being" -- whatever you want to call it -- that very thing that distinguishes you from the rest of the world, belongs to Allaah. It's not YOURS. In fact, YOU are not YOURS. And since He is the true Possessor of everything, and everything is His property, He allots what He wills to whomever He wills…….and then He takes it away. After all, it was Allaah's to begin with. So He may give you some thing and then take it back after a while. In fact everything you have will only be with you for a very short while.
Just like a friend who lends you his book. And then after a few days, he wants it back and you give it back to him…no regrets…..no sorrow….no questions asked. Similarly, if Allah takes back some of His blessings upon you for some reason….so be it. Remember….that you are not the real owner…..you were NEVER the real owner to begin with. You only had everything because it was Allah who gave it to you in the first place. If He didnt give it to you, you wouldnt have had it in any way…in fact, you couldn't have had it. Remember….man enters into this world empty handed…and leaves it empty handed. Remember….that everything we have, all the blessings we enjoy, are gifts from Almighty Allah...gifts that we enjoy for a limited period until He takes them away whenever He deems fit.
Take note of the words of the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) on the occasion of the death of his son, Ibraahim: And we all know the famous incidence about the companion Abu Talha and his wife when one of the sons died and Abu Talha was not at home. She washed and shrouded him and when Abu Talha came home and asked about his son, she said, "The child is quiet and I hope he is in peace…." (Bukhaari)
Subhaan Allaah….such patience! She truly understood its meaning and the affect it should have on her life as a Muslimah, submitting to him and being pleased with whatever He has decreed for her.
She knew that whatever she has, is not truly hers. Rather, it is Allaah's….and He took back whatever He owns at its appointed time.
Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) made dua for them and Allaah blessed them immensely. . __,_._,___

FW: What's your IQ?
From: Aqib Khan Date: 25-01-2011 7:25:18 PM Subject: FW: What's your IQ? If a person is thought to be very intelligent, yet fails exam after exam, soon all those around him/her will begin to think that he/she is not really very intelligent after all. To get through life with your faith intact, with good deeds, and with Allah's pleasure as your greatest goal, is the biggest exam you will ever face. If you fail the exam of life you cannot call yourself intelligent, regardless of what else your "intelligence" allowed you to accumulate of education, wealth, fame or pleasure. These will all go to waste with your death, while you will still have to stand before your Lord and face the consequences for eternity. Your intelligence would have failed you if it didn't give you the sense to properly attempt the biggest exam of your life. Such intelligence is cursed! In an examination hall if you start watching a movie, or discussing the score of a game, or pull out a lavish meal to eat, would you be considered sensible? No matter what your I.Q., you'd be considered mad. This life is one big exam. Are you busy answering the questions of what to believe and what to do or are you busy entertaining yourself? The time for enjoyment is later. Those who prepare and do well in the exam of life will be considered the intelligent ones for eternity. The people in Hell will say about themselves, "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!" [Al-Quran 67:10] We are so engrossed in our various pursuits that the reality of death does not occur to us. Constant remembrance of death would keep us from getting easily distracted by the glittery entertainment beckoning from all directions, preventing us from seriously attempting the exam of life. Keeping death in mind would help us abstain from sin and motivate us to do good deeds without delay. The most intelligent person is the one who gives the exam of life his/her full attention, since there are no re-takes. Wasalaam, Farhat.
