FW: Tomato Story

Tomato Story

A Jobless man applied for the position of 'office boy' at Microsoft.
The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

'You are employed' he said.  Give me your e-mail address and I'll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when  you may start.

The man replied 'But I don't have a computer, neither an email'.

'I'm sorry', said the HR manager. If you don't have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn't exist, cannot have the job.'

The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.

He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours,

He succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times,
And returned home with $60.

The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.

Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US
He started to plan his family's future, and decided to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was concluded the broker asked him his email.
The man replied,'I don't have an email.'
The broker answered curiously, 'You don't have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an e mail?!!' The man thought for a while and replied, 'Yes, I'd be an office boy at Microsoft!'

Moral of the story

Moral 1

Internet is not the solution to your life.

Moral 2

If you don't have Internet, but work hard, you can be a millionaire.

Moral 3

If you received this message by email,
You are closer to being an office boy/girl, than a millionaire..........

There's an herb that's not very well know in the United States, but in India, this plant is so revered that they use it in their ritual to consecrate newborn babies. They believe it opens the gateways to knowledge.

Discover the Healing Power
Of Nature's Herbal Wonder

The ancient Egyptians dubbed it the "Plant of Immortality." The ancient Greeks referred to it as the "Wand of Heaven." Native Americans called it the "Silent Healer."

I'm talking about Aloe Vera.

Topical Aloe Vera is a highly effective skin care remedy. But did you know that the juice of the Aloe Vera plant has remarkable internal healing powers?

This juice provides relief from indigestion and heartburn by reducing pain caused by stomach irritants. And also by balancing your stomach acid's pH.

And that's just one of many natural medicinal uses for Aloe Vera juice.

Nature City has come up with a drink that contains the finest Aloe Vera juice concentrate. It's 100% natural and can help restore your body.

Click here to try some for yourself.

It's called bacopa.

It likes warm climates with lots of available water, like we have here in South Florida.

In fact, bacopa grows in a few of the sunnier places around the large pond in my backyard. It's a perennial, so I can always see a few purplish-white flowers poking out here and there along the edge of the water.

I like to take a thick leaf or two in my hand and snap it open between my fingers and crush it a little... It has a nice lemon scent to it.

And with a nickname like the "Herb of Grace" you can imagine it has a few good things going for it.

Bacopa has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine in India. There, they use the entire plant to treat breathing ailments like asthma and rheumatism. They also use the crushed leaves on cuts and burns because of its anti-inflammatory action.

But the latest research shows that bacopa protects your brain. And, more importantly, can improve intellectual capacity, concentration and memory, as well as shorten learning time.

In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study – the gold standard in research – they divided people into two groups. One group got 300 mg a day of bacopa and the other got a placebo. After 12 weeks, the people taking bacopa had:

  • Better word recall
  • Better attention
  • Better memory scores
  • A greater ability to ignore irrelevant information when learning

The bacopa group also had less anxiety and lower heart rates, while the stress and heart rates in the placebo group increased.1

Another double-blind placebo-controlled investigation gave 107 healthy people 300 mg of bacopa plant extract daily. After 90 days, the people had significantly improved their spatial memory, memory accuracy and their ability to process visual information.2

Research also has discovered that bacopa can protect you from toxins that are harmful to your brain, especially aluminum. Long-term exposure to aluminum can increase your risk of Alzheimer's disease by 60 percent.3

Bacopa, also known as the "Herb of Grace," has been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic medicine.

In a study from India, researchers gave animals aluminum chloride. The animals treated with bacopa extract were protected from damage to the lipids and proteins in the brain. Bacopa's protection even showed up on a microscopic level. It prevented a buildup of toxins between neurons, and stopped damage to the hippocampus, an important seat of learning, memory and thinking power.4

Another animal study showed bacopa reduced cellular damage in the part of the brain that controls movement and attention, and reversed the symptoms of muscular problems originating in the brain.5

Bacopa has a lot of beneficial components like saponins (that protect against infection) and flavonoids (plant antioxidants).

But bacopa also has two active components called bacosides A and B. They improve the transmission of impulses between nerve cells in the brain, they regenerate synapses and repair damaged neurons. It helps you to learn and remember new things much more easily.

It's easy to add this ancient herb to what you eat, or take it as a supplement.

  1. If you would like to grow your own, it's easy to do. There are up to 100 species of bacopa, but bacopa monnieri is the one used in Ayurvedic medicine.

You can buy bacopa plants at garden centers all over the southern U.S. It's often sold online as an "aquarium" plant because of the colorful flowers. You also can buy bacopa plants and seeds online.

Two websites that will help you find retailers are Myfolia (www.myfolia.com/retailers), or Dave's Garden (www.davesgarden.com - under the products and sources tab).

You can plant them in the ground where they grow to about 6 inches tall, or in a basket where they'll hang down. To grow them, you need sandy, acidic soil, and lots of sunlight. They don't like cold, and need to stay moist, but otherwise, they're pretty low maintenance.

  2. To make tea from the bacopa plant, you can use the leaves, stems and (dried) roots, but the leaves themselves work fine, too. First boil some water, and add the leaves. Let steep up to 10 minutes, and strain off.

Here are three things to remember:

Tear and bruise the leaves so the aromatic oils can be released into the water.
You'll need to use more fresh leaves than you would dried.
Because it's an herbal tea and has few tannins, you can steep bacopa for a long time and it won't get more and more bitter like tea from regular tea leaves.
The tea should be kept refrigerated and used within four days.

When I make tea from the leaves of the plants around my house, I like to add stevia leaves. This adds sweetness to the lemon flavor of the bacopa, which can be a little bitter.

I also sometimes add bacopa to salads and soups. The slightly tangy taste jazzes up the flavor.

  3. Bacopa is also available in capsules, syrups, tinctures and extracts. You can even find it at health-food stores in its dried or powered form, which is nice for making infusions.

To make an oil infusion, warm some sesame or olive oil in a double boiler with bacopa for four hours. After two hours, replace the bacopa. After four hours, strain the infusion. You can preserve it with rosemary oil extract.

As a supplement, bacopa usually comes in a standardized formula of 20 percent bacosides A and B. You can find it at many health-food stores, and you can get capsules in many sizes. But studies show at least 300 mg of bacopa extract is effective. I recommend taking 150 mg in the morning and at night.

Hashim Amla Pays 500$ For Not Wearing Wine tagged T-Shirt

Cape Town : South Africa | Apr 14, 2011
By crazyadeel Description: send a private message

South Africa's Hashim Amla bats in the nets during a cricket practice session in New Delhi
Batting sensation of recent times I.e. Hashim Amla hailing from S Africa and being ICC No.1 batsman is not only a man of character just in sports arenas but also in the real life. He pays 500$ fine on not wearing the wine tagged T-shirt of South Africa's national cricket team kit. Allah bless you Mr Hashim Amla. We are proud of you.

The cricket gurus are in opinion that if he continues such a character in the field, he can be the first South African cricket captain who is Muslim and Asian born. He has become a role model for all the Muslims and especially who are in sports arenas.

The story goes as few years back, South African cricket team made an agreement with a wine selling company. But they were astonished when Hashim Amla denied to wear this wine tagged t-shirt. He placed the arguments as wine was "haram" in Islam so all the money earned from this tag would also be "haram".At last the agreement was done between Hashim and Board and Hasim had to pay 500$ per month as the cost of his character and religion. Very well done Hashim.

He also stated that he turned down the million dollars offer from IPL just due to the vulgarity and nudity there. This is the ironic character of a true Muslim. We all pay a tribute to this great Muslim. May Allah bless us with such a character and religious values. Allah Bless You Hashim Amla.

"May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon You"

Praise be to Allaah, we seek His help and His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own souls and from our bad deeds. Whomsoever Allaah guides will never be led astray, and whomsoever Allaah leaves astray, no one can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allaah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

I Want To Be A TV

ESSAY FROM A CHILD

A teacher from Primary School asks her students to write an essay about what they would like God to do for them...

At the end of the day while marking the essays, she read one that made her very emotional.

Her husband, that had just walked in saw her crying and asked her:

- What happened?

She answered - Read this. Its one of my students essays.

Oh God, tonight I ask you something very special:

Make me into a television.

I want to take its place. Live like the TV in my house. Have my own special place, and have my family around ME.

To be taken seriously when I talk....

I want to be the Center of attention and be heard without interruptions or questions.

I want to receive the same special care that the TV receives when it is not working.

Have the company of my dad when he arrives home from work, even when he is tired.

And I want my mom to want me when she is sad and upset, instead of ignoring me... And... I want my brothers to fight to be with me... I want to feel that family just leaves everything aside, every now and then, just to spend some time with me.

And last but not least make it that I can make them all happy and entertain them...

God I don't ask you for much... I just want to live like every TV.

At that moment the husband said:  - My God, poor kid. What horrible parents!

She looked up at him and said:  That essay is our son!!!

So true isnt it?

After coming back from work or school we immediately switch it ON and are glued to it for hours together.

If our mom, dad, brother or sister wants to have a word with us the expectation is only after completion of a serial or sports match isn't it. We get doubly irritated if anyone interrupts in between our TV show.

But do we show the same dedication in reading Quran or offering Namaz/Salah.  We always tend to complete it at the earliest as if someone has tied us up with the responsibility which we are fulfilling for the sake of fulfilling it.

Lets hope Insha Allah in coming days we also are glued and are fully busy in reading Quran and also offering our Salah.

Regards,

Dear Irshad,

When I traveled to India and visited the home of Ayurvedic medicine, the world's oldest health system, one of my favorite things I learned was their name for the coconut palm tree.

They call the coconut palm kalpa vriksha which means "the tree which provides all the necessities of life." What a great name. The tree of life.

We have coconut palms here in South Florida, and seeing them always gives me the feeling of lazy afternoons at the beach, and warm tropical breezes.

I have coconut trees in my yard, too, and I love to eat coconut ... But it takes a bit of skill to get the darned things open. When I went to Brazil and ordered a drink with fresh coconut milk in it, a guy puts the coconut down, takes a machete, and "whack!" opens it right up.

It wasn't so easy when I tried it at home. It takes a little practice. I've got it down now. I can't open a coconut with one whack, but I can do it without taking a hammer and busting it to pieces.

What you have to have is a heavy machete, and it's got to be sharp.

And it's not easy to get the coconuts down from the tree, either. Climbing a straight, smooth coconut palm is a trick. You can tie your feet together with a rope and shimmy up, and I've done that, but it's not easy!

When I go to Jamaica, my friends have coconut palms on their property. They grow on both sides of the road, and they have all the coconut you can eat. We make drinks from them, eat the flesh, and when the coconuts are young, there's a jelly inside that's good, too.

Coconuts are an excellent way to get protein and natural fiber. They also have zero starch, and the brain-healthy nutrient choline.

In Jamaica, they also press the flesh of the coconut to make oil for their skin. It doesn't take too much. You can put it on a flat surface and just roll a round coffee cup over it and get some oil.

Cosmetic companies are starting to lust after coconuts like they're gold because the oil is such an effective moisturizer and skin softener.

But coconuts have a secret skin ingredient that most cosmetics makers don't know about.

It's fat.

But not just any fat.

Coconuts have a unique kind of fat you'll find in less than a half-dozen foods anywhere in the world. They're called medium chain fatty acids (MCTs).

These fats – capric acid and lauric acid – are very rare. They are only found in human breast milk, cow and goat's milk, and coconut and palm kernel oils (which is not the same as palm oil).

Why is this important to you? Because the outer layer of your skin is partly made of fat. And keeping this layer of skin water-tight and healthy not only keeps your skin firm and smooth, but it's your best defense against pollutants the modern world produces.

This skin barrier is called your "acid mantle." It's made up of skin cells and fats called sebum that protect you from environmental dangers like toxins, viruses, bacteria and other attackers.

This barrier also works as an antioxidant. It protects skin from water loss, and it maintains the correct hardness of the water-holding protein that makes up your skin called keratin.

The MCTs in coconut oil benefit your skin because they reinforce your protective barrier and increase your proteins that hold on to water.

MCTs also help maintain your skin's ph balance. In order to stay water-tight and healthy, your skin needs to be slightly acidic (which is why the barrier is called an "acid" mantle).

The problem with many so-called "mild" soaps and commercial products is that they damage your skin barrier by stripping away too much of your fatty sebum. What's worse is that they reverse your skin's natural ph so it's no longer mildly acidic.

Using Coconut Oil for Skin Care:

  • Makes your skin soft and smooth to the touch
  • Gives your skin an overall healthy glow
  • Helps your complexion keep its natural moisture
  • Firms your skin
  • Prevents breakdown of natural collagens
  • Promotes healthy new skin cells
  • Prevents liver spots
  • Prevents wrinkles

These products then leave your skin open to infection, unable to keep moisture and more prone to developing rashes and breakouts.

Also, most cosmetics loosen your keratin fibers to create gaps in the protective covering, so they can artificially hydrate your skin.

This looks good for a little while, but when the artificial hydration wears off, it makes your skin even more prone to water loss, damage, infections and pollutants.

The MCTs in coconut oil, by comparison, react naturally with your skin to keep it hydrated and firm. They increase your acid mantle and keep your skin protein intact. One study showed that MCTs significantly increased skin hydration compared to drugs and other mixtures.1

MCT fatty acids also gently dissolve dead skin cells, leaving behind a fresher, more even complexion. This will prevent wrinkles from forming and will help to soften wrinkles that are already present.

Coconut oil can penetrate underneath your protective layer, too, going deep down to heal underlying skin damage. By massaging coconut oil into your skin, you can improve the connective tissue deep below the surface. Coconut oil has been proven in clinical studies to mimic the skin's natural repair mechanisms.2

Coconut oil protects against overexposure to the sun, too, which is why it's used in suntan lotion.

Vitamin E is one of your primary skin antioxidants and is temporarily used up when you spend long periods in the sun. Coconut oil protects you by preserving your vitamin E, and allowing you to absorb more of it.

In fact, scientists are looking at using coconut oil as a better vitamin E delivery system than gel capsule supplements. In an animal study, researchers used oil made from coconut MCTs to see how well it could help vitamin E absorb. After only 24 hours, more than 65 percent of the vitamin E was absorbed, and had already made it to the places that need it most like the heart and liver.3

Coconut oil works well as a delivery system because MCTs like lauric acid are easily absorbed by your skin cells. Commercial skin care products use synthetic versions of these acids, but the man-made versions aren't even close to being as effective.

For general health purposes, eating raw coconut is a great way to get protein, natural fiber and healthy fats.

One thing coconuts don't have is a lot of vitamins.

Many so-called skin care and health experts keep telling you that coconuts are healthy because they are "high" in this or that vitamin, but it's just not true.

A cup of raw coconut only has .2 mg of vitamin E, 2 mg of vitamin C, no vitamin A, almost zero B vitamins, and ..2 micrograms of vitamin K.3

What coconuts do have is lots of minerals. A cup of coconut has a good amount of iron, zinc, copper, selenium, potassium ... and especially manganese.

Manganese is what gives you iron-hard bones, nerves that can respond in an instant and hormones that keep you calm and relaxed.

If you don't want to eat raw coconut, you can use coconut oil. I recommend about three tablespoons of coconut oil each day to improve your skin, hair and nails ... and for increased immune function.

The lauric acid transforms into a substance called Monolaurin that can strengthen your immunity and fight infection from bacteria and viruses.

To Your Good Health,

Al Sears, MD

FW: Even If Sins Reach the Clouds

-------Original Message-------
From: Aqib Khan
Date: 03-01-2011 05:45:57 PM
Subject: FW: Even If Sins Reach the Clouds

The Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi WA sallam) said: "Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, says, 'O son of Adam, as long as you call on Me, I shall forgive you of what you have done, and think nothing of it. O son of Adam, even if your sins were to reach up to the clouds in the sky, and then you were to ask for My forgiveness, I would forgive you and think nothing of it. O son of Adam, even if you were to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth, and then you were to meet Me after death, not worshipping anything besides Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as the earth.'" [Tirmidhi]

Allah (subhana WA ta'ala) loves it when people ask Him to forgive their sins. He is overjoyed with their repentance, since He hates to punish anybody. At the slightest excuse He washes people's sins away. The only condition is that the human being must truly regret in his/her heart that they did what they did. The sinner should be ashamed of their misdeeds, and discontinue committing such sins. If the resolve to avoid the sin is not there then one has not actually repented.

In this hadith, Allah (subhana WA ta'ala) tells us that no matter how many a person's sins are, should they even reach the sky in heaps, Allah would forgive the sinner if they were to turn to Allah in repentance. In a different hadith, the Prophet (sal Allahu alayhi WA sallam) told us that Allah's bounty is so vast that He would actually convert all the sins into good deeds, should the person truly repent. We should not postpone repenting of our sins and reforming ourselves to when we become old, since nobody knows when they will die.
